This album was recorded as a component of the Honours Degree in Music at VCA. The concept for this project was to create a suite of solo bass compositions that didn't use a loop pedal or rely overly on extended techniques. It takes influence from Villa-Lobos' Douze Etudes and classical guitar repertoire to extract devices and techniques that can be employed in the process of composition and improvisation.
